HIV Testing 

It is important for Sisters to get tested for HIV every 6 months. Knowing one’s status helps determine the best prevention or care options. Get tested for free at CeSHHAR clinics.

• Those who test positive will be linked to preferred local clinics for ARV initiation, resupply of ART medicines and registration with the national ART program.
• Those who test negative will be offered PrEP in combination with other prevention methods such as condoms, STI treatment.

Adherence support is offered to Sisters’ on PrEP/ART.

At HIV testing, nurses at the Sisters’ clinics can advise on STI treatment and prevention, family planning, mental health services and gender-based violence prevention.
